सा.का.जन. 127(अ).—संजिधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परंतुक द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करत े हुए और जिजध
और न्याय मंत्रालय (जिजध कायय जिभाग और जिधायी जिभाग, समूह 'घ' पद) भती जनयमािली, 1986 के अजधक्रमण म,ें इस
तरह के अजधक्रमण स े पहल े उन बातों के जसिाय जजन्ह ें दकया गया ह ै या करन े का लोप दकया गया है, राष्ट्रपजत जिजध और
न्याय मंत्रालय (जिजध कायय जिभाग और जिधायी जिभाग) में मल्टी टास्स्ट्कग स्ट्टाफ (ग्रपु 'सी') के पदों पर भती की पद्धजत को
जिजनयजमत करने के जलए एतद ्द्वारा जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनात ेहैं, जैसे: -
1. संजिप्त िीर्कय और प्रारंभ.- (1) इन जनयमों को जिजध और न्याय मंत्रालय (जिजध कायय जिभाग और जिधायी जिभाग)
(ग्रुप 'सी) मल्टी टास्स्ट्कग स्ट्टाफ भती जनयमािली, 2022 कहा जा सकता ह।ै (2) य े सरकारी राजपत्र म ें इनके
प्रकािन की तारीख से प्रिृत्त होंगे।
2. पदों की सख्ं या, िगीकरण और िते नमान.- पदों की संख्या, उनका िगीकरण और उससे सबं ंजधत िेतन मैट्ररक्स म ें
िेतन स्ट्तर िे होंग ेजो इन जनयमों के साथ सलं ग्न अनुसूची के कॉलम (2) स े(4) म ेंजनर्ददष्ट ह।ैं
3. भती की पद्धजत, आय ु सीमा और अन्य अहतय ाएं आदद.- उि पद पर भती की पद्धजत, आयु सीमा, अहतय ाएं और उसस े
संबंजधत अन्य बातें िे होंगी जो उि अनुसूची के कॉलम (5) स े(13) में जिजनर्ददष्ट ह।ैं

4. जनरहतय ा - कोई भी व्यजि,
(क) जजसने दकसी ऐसे व्यजि के साथ जििाह दकया हो जजनकी पजत या पत्नी जीजित ह,ै
(ख) जजसने पजत या पत्नी के जीजित रहते हुए दकसी और व्यजि से जििाह दकया हो,
उि पद पर जनयुजि के पात्र नहीं होंगे:
बितें दक केंद्र सरकार, यदद संतुष्ट हो, दक इस तरह की िादी ऐसे व्यजि और िादी के दसू रे पि पर लाग ूस्ट्िीय जिजध
के तहत स्ट्िीकायय ह ैऔर ऐसा करने के जलए अन्य आधार ह,ैं तो दकसी भी व्यजि को इस जनयम से छूट दी जा सकती ह।ै
5. जिजथलीकरण की िजि.- जहां केंद्र सरकार की यह राय हो दक ऐसा करना आिश्यक या समीचीन ह,ै िह दकसी भी
व्यजि या िग यया श्रेणी के संबंध में आदेि द्वारा और कारणों को जलजखत रूप में दज यकरत े हुए इन जनयमों के दकसी भी
प्रािधान को जिजथल कर सकती ह।ै
6. व्यािजृ त्त.- इन जनयमों का कोई भी प्रािधान अनुसूजचत जाजतयों, अनुसूजचत जनजाजतयों, अन्य जपछडे िगों, भूतपूिय
सैजनकों या दकसी अन्य जििेर् श्रेणी के व्यजियों के जलए आरिण, आयु सीमा में छूट और अन्य ट्ररयायतों से संबंजधत
केंद्र सरकार द्वारा समय-समय पर जारी दकए गए आदेिों को प्रभाजित नहीं करेगा। ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th February , 2023
G.S.R. 127( E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in
supersession of the Ministry of Law and Justice (Department of Legal Affairs and Legislative Department, Group ‘D’
Posts) Recruitment Rules, 1986, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the
President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the posts of Multi Tasking Staff
(Group ‘C’) in the Ministry of Law and Justice (Department of Legal Affairs and Legislative Department), namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1)These rules may be called the Ministry of Law and Justice (Department
of Legal Affairs and Legislative Department) (Group ‘C) Multi Tasking Staff Recruitment Rules,2022.
(2)They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazatte.
2. Number of Posts, classification and scale of pay.- The number of posts, its classification and the Pay Level
in Pay Matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in Column (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these
rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age limit and other qualifications, etc.- The method of recruitment to the said
post, age limit, qualification and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in column (5) to (13) of
the said Schedule.
4. Disqualification. -No person,
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied, that such marriage is permissible under the personal
law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and the there are other grounds for so doing,
exempts any person from the operation of this Rule.
5. Power to relax.- Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do so,
it may , by order, and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with

6. Saving .- Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxations of age limit and other concessions
required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Ex-
servicemen or any other special category of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central
Government from time to time in this regard.
