The Ministry of Cooperation, through the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), has disbursed funds for various sectors, with a focus on Women Cooperatives and the Jute Sector. No disbursements were made for projects in the Poultry, Coir, and Small Scale Industry sectors over the last five years (2020-2025) due to a lack of project proposals received by the NCDC from these sectors.
Funds disbursed for Women Cooperatives were Rs. 800.36 crore in 2020-21, Rs. 1319.52 crore in 2021-22, Rs. 1437.00 crore in 2022-23, Rs. 711.55 crore in 2023-24, and Rs. 1355.61 crore in 2024-25. The Jute Sector received Rs. 0.00 crore in 2020-21 and 2021-22, Rs. 8.76 crore in 2022-23, Rs. 0.05 crore in 2023-24, and Rs. 0.00 crore in 2024-25.
Detailed sector-wise disbursements by NCDC from 2019-20 to 2024-25 include Marketing, Inputs, Processing (Sugar Factories, Textile, Other Processing Units), Storage, Cold Chain, Weaker Section Programs (Fisheries Cooperatives, Dairy/Livestock, Poultry, Tribal/SC Cooperatives, Handloom Cooperative, Powerloom, Coir, Jute/Sericulture), Computerization of Cooperatives, Consumer Cooperatives, ICDP, C,ICSC Industrial Cooperative Credit, Yuva Sahakar, PD, FPO, PC, FFPO, Agro Export, and Export Promotion. The grand total disbursement across all sectors from 2019-20 to 2024-25 was Rs. 27,703.45 crore, Rs. 24,733.24 crore, Rs. 41,031.40 crore, Rs. 26,425.75 crore, Rs. 34,221.08 crore and Rs 60,618.47 crore respectively.

There has been no disbursement by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) for projects
in the Poultry, Coir, and Small-Scale Industry sectors. However, the details of funds disbursed by NCDC
for the development of Women Cooperatives and the Jute Sector over the last five years are as under:

Details of funds disbursed by NCDC during 2019 to 2024 are attached as Annexure-1.
Financial assistance by NCDC to any sector is not limited by fund allocation as the projects are assisted as
per the receipt of proposals from the sector. As National Cooperative Development Corporation did not
receive project for financial assistance from poultry, coir and small-scale industry during last five years hence
the disbursement could not be made under these sectors.
