As per Section 65 of the Electricity Act, 2003, the State Government is required to pay the amount of subsidy in advance to the distribution companies every quarter. 3. After careful examination, Government hereby accord Administrative Sanction for an amount of Rs. 22,18,13,00,000/- (Rupees two thousand two hundred eighteen crore thirteen lakh only ) against the subsidies payable to the APDISCOMS during the financial year 2023-24 under the following Head of Account in relaxation of treasury control and quarterly regulation orders during CFY 2023 -24 and details are here under: (Rs.in Lakhs.)
