Registered No. HSE-49/2016 PART I EXTRAORDINARY No.251 AMARAVATI, WEDNESDAY, MAY 13, 2026 G.144 NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT --x-- Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department – Appointment of Joint Collector, Sri Sathyasai District, Puttaparthi as Special Officer to the Kadiri Municipality on administrative grounds - Orders – Issued. ======================================================== [G.O.Rt.No. 606, MA&UD (G) DEPARTMENT, Date: 13.05.2026] NOTIFICATION Whereas vide G.O.Rt.No.284, MA&UD (G) Department, dated: 10.03.2026 Government have issued orders appointing the Revenue Divisional officer, Kadiri as Special officer to the Kadiri Municipality one among others for a period of six (06) months from 18.03.2026 or till the elected body comes into office, whichever is earlier. Subsequently, Government vide G.O.Rt.No. 339, MA&UD (G) Department, dated: 17.03.2026 has issued amendment orders in the matter. 2. In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under section (1) of Section 62-A of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby appoints the Joint Collector, Sri Satya Sai District, Puttaparthi as Special Officer to Kadiri Municipality on administrative grounds instead of Revenue Divisional Officer, Kadiri, with immediate effect for a period of (6) months or till the elected body comes into force, whichever is earlier. 3. The Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, AP, is requested to take necessary action accordingly.
