Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department –Extension of the term of the
Commissioner, Mangalagiri Tadepalli Municipal Corporation as Special Officer to Mangalagiri
Tadepalli Municipal Corporation for a period of (6) months from 03.04.2026 to 02.10.2026 or
till the elected body comes into force, whichever is earlier - Orders –Issued.

NOTIFICATION
Whereas, in the Lr.Roc.No. No. 13021/19/2022/H1, Dated: 23.03.2026, the
Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, AP., has requested the Government to
extend the term of Commissioner, Mangalagiri Tadepalli Municipal Corporation as Special
Officer to Mangalagiri Tadepalli Municipal Corporation for a further period of six (6) months
with effect from 03.04.2026 to 02.10.2026 (or) till the elected body comes into force,
whichever is earlier, as the term of the Special Officer to Mangalagiri Tadepalli Municipal
Corporation has been expired by 02.04.2026.
2. In exercise of powers conferred by Section 17 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal
Corporation Act, 1994 read with section 70-G of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1955, the
Government after careful examination, hereby extends the term of the Municipal
Commissioner, Mangalagiri Tadepalli Municipal Corporation as Special Officer to Mangalagiri
Tadepalli Municipal Corporation for a further period of six (6) months with effect from
03.04.2026 to 02.10.2026 (or) till the elected body comes into force, whichever is earlier.
3. The Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, A.P. is requested to take
necessary action in the matter accordingly.
