Registered No. HSE-49/2016 PART I EXTRAORDINARY No.175 AMARAVATI, THURSDAY, APRIL 9, 2026 G.28 NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT --x-- Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department – Appointment of New Special officer to Bapatla Municipality on administrative grounds - Orders – Issued. ======================================================== [G.O.Rt.No. 401, MA&UD (G) Department, Date: 09.04.2026] NOTIFICATION Whereas, vide G.O.Ms.No. 60, MA&UD (G) Department, Date: 10.05.2023, Government have issued orders appointing the District Revenue Officer, Bapatla District as Special Officer to Bapatla Municipality for a period of six (06) months from 06.05.2023 or till the elected body comes into force, whichever is earlier and Government have extended the period of Special Officer, Bapatla Municipality, from time to time. Subsequently, vide G.O.Rt.No. 1315, MA&UD (G) Department, dated: 21.11.2025, among others, the term of the Special officer of Bapatla Municipality has been extended from 06.11.2025 to 05.05.2026 or till elected body comes into force, whichever is earlier. 2. In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under sub section (1) of Section 62-A of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby appoints the Collector & District Magistrate, Bapatla, as the Special Officer to Bapatla Municipality with immediate effect in place of District Revenue Officer, Bapatla District (Present Special officer) on administrative grounds for a period of (6) months or till elected body comes into force, whichever is earlier.
