NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the term of the Special Officers in 10 ULBs viz., Kandukur, Amadalavalasa,
Narasaraopet, Ponnur, Kavali, Chinthalapudi Nagar Panchayat, Tadigadapa, Podili Nagar Panchayat,
Alluru Nagar Panchayat & B.Kothakota Nagar Panchayat will be expired on 30.07.2026 (1 ULB),
02.07.2026 (4 ULBs), 8.07.2026 (1ULB) and 11.07.2026 (4 ULBs) as shown in the Annexure.
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under section (1) of section 62-A of the
Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby extend the term
of Special Officers to the 10 ULBs mentioned in the Annexure for a period of (6) months or till the
elected body comes into office, whichever is earlier.
