No. 6 of 1965) read with rule 3 & 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (Gradation of Municipalities and Nagar Panchayats) Rules, 1995 issued in G.O.Ms.No.32, MA&UD (J2) Department, dated: 03-02-1995 read with G.O.Ms.No.25, MA&UD (J2) Department, dated: 23.01.2001, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby declare and upgrade the Narsipatnam Municipality from Third Grade Municipality to First Grade Municipality with immediate effect.
