OR DER:- Government of Andhra Pradesh is giving priority for promotion of Renewable Energz Power projects and has- blen iolling out multiple initiatives, programs, policies and incentives to accelerate the development of the renewable ener$/ sector. The State is having good RE power potential particularly in Rayalaseema region where huge extents of lands have been identified for promotion of RE power projects by inviting private investments. 2. Further, the Government of India has committed at the 26e session of the Conference of the Parties (COP26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) held in Glasgow, United Kingdom to reach 500 GW Non-fossil energr capacity by 2030 and achieve the 6rget of net zero emissions by 2OTO. 3. Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued orders vide following GOs for large scale promotion of Wind Power, Solar Power and Wind-Solar liybrid Power Projects: 1. AP Solar Power policy -2or8 issued vide G.o.Ms.No. 1, dt.o3.0 r.2olg 2. AP wind power policy -2olg issued vide G.o. SIPB has agreed for allotment of 600 MW Wind Power capacities in Districts without overlapping sri Sathya sai and Anarrthu.prr.mu with the areas allotted already to other developers for RE power capacities and Wind Resource Assessment Studies' b. SIPB has agreed to extend incentives under AP RE Export Policy 2020. of the proposal of 6. Government after detailed examination with vikram Shakti Pvt. Ltd. in consultation various M/s.ReNew o"pt., Br.sgt Depl in the light of the decisions stakeholders i.e, Revenue taken in the Staie Investment Promotion Boaid, has further issued orders as follows: i.Allotmentof600MWWindPowerProjecti"_!lS.athyaSaiand n,".'tt,"puramuDistricts.TheMD/NREDCAPisdirectedto identify suitable potential lands' ii.Exter.ldincentivesunderAPREExportPolicy2o2o. iii. APTRANSCO shall facilitate for evacuation of power from the proposed RE Power Projects to the nearest CTU sub-stations. Necessary evacuation facility till the nearest CTU shall be developed by M/s ReNew Vikram Shakti Rrt. Ltd. viii. The Power generated from the wind power project should be connected to Power Grid/CTU substations and delivered outside the State with no obligation for DISCOMS to purchase power. Hov/ever, DISCOMs shall have first right of refusal. ix. The project shall be completed within 3 years from the date of this order. x. The NREDCAP shall ensure project commissioning by the company within the committed timelines, no transfer of capacity sanction is allowed until the project achieves its Commercial Operation Date (COD), and NREDCAP shall not entertain any changes in any manner without prior permission of the Competent Authority. 7. The Revenue Department/EFS & T Dept.,/ Industries, & Commerce Dept.,/ APTRANSCO shall take necessary action accordingly pertains to their issues. 8. The Vice Chairnan & Managing Director, New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of anania Pradesh, Tadepalli,'Guntur District shall take further necessary action accordingly.
