Registered No. HSE-49/2016 PART I EXTRAORDINARY No.449 AMARAVATI, MONDAY, AUGUST 17, 2026 G.518 NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT --x-- MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATION & URBAN DEVELOPMENT (I) DEPARTMENT Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department – The Andhra Pradesh Metropolitan Region and Urban Development Authorities Act, 2016 (Act No.5 of 2016) – Constitution of Markapuram Urban Development Authority (MRK UDA)with Head Quarters at Markapuram -Notification - Orders- Issued. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- G.O.Ms.No.183, Municipal Administration & Urban Development (I) Department, Dt.17.08.2026) NOTIFICATION -I In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Metropolitan Region and Urban Development Authorities Act, 2016 (Act No.5 of 2016), the Government of Andhra Pradesh having regard to the need for the promotion of development activities relating to as a Urban Development Authority to achieve the objectives of the region witnesses tremendous growth in the domains of Industries, Imports and Exports etc. hereby specify a special Urban Development Area for the area comprised within the jurisdiction of Markapuram District consisting of (4) Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and twenty one (21) Mandals and 507 Villages to an extent of 6037.39 Sq.Km with Head Quarters at Markapuram as specified in the Schedule appended to this notification to be a Urban Development Area for the purpose of the said Act and the said Area shall be as "Markapuram Urban Development Area (MRK UDA)".
