Registe red No. HSE-49/2016 PART V EXTRAORDINARY No.16 AMARAVATI, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19, 2026 G.552 STATUTORY NOTIFICATIONS OF THE ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA AND OTHER ELECTION NOTIFICATIONS --x-- NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT GENERAL ADMINISTRATION (ELECTIONS) DEPARTMENT --x-- ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA NOTIFICATION REGARDING APPOINTMENT OF ADDITIONAL ASSISTANT ELECTORAL REGISTRATION OFFICERS (AEROs) IN ANDHRA PRADESH STATE [Memo No.886/Elecs.B/A1/2026-16, Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Andhra Pradesh, Dated:19.08.2026] The following notification of the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, No.429/AP- LA/SOU-3/2023(AERO)(11), dated the 18th August, 2026/ 27 Shravan, 1948(Saka) is published: - NOTIFICATION No.429/AP-LA/SOU-3/2023(AERO)(11):- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of Section 13C of the Representation of the People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950), the Election Commission of India, hereby directs that the following entries shall be made in the Notifications issued /modified earlier, relating to the appointment of the Assistant Electoral Registration Officers of the Assembly Constituency in the State of Andhra Pradesh, namely:-2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [PART-V] 2. For the existing entry in Column (2) of the table appended to the said notification no.429/AP-LA/SOU-3/2023(AERO)(9) dated 04.08.2026, in respect of the following Assembly Constituencies as shown in column (1) of the said table, the entries shown against it in Column (2) below shall be added:- Table Number and Name of Assistant Electoral Registration Officer Assembly Constiteuncy (1) (2) 1 Dy.MPDO, Bapatla 92-Bapatla 2 Town Planning Officer, Bapatla Municipality 1 Dy.MPDO, Chirala 106-Chirala 2 Dy.MPDO, Vetapalem 3. The Officers in Column (2) of the above table shall cease to function as Assistant Electoral Registration Officers immediately after the completion of process of Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Roll w.r.t. 01.07.2026 as the qualifying date in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
