NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (a) and (b) of sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Metropolitan Region and Urban Development Authorities Act, 2016 (Act No. 5 of 2016), read with sub-section (2) of the said section, and in partial modification of the notifications previously issued defining the Development Area of the Rajamahendravaram Urban Development Authority (RUDA), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby: (a) include in the said Development Area the areas specified in Schedule-I; (b) exclude therefrom the areas specified in Schedule-II; and (c) define the revised limits of the Development Area of RUDA as comprising the areas specified in Schedule-III, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette. This reorganisation is intended to facilitate streamlined administration, coordinated urban development, effective spatial planning and efficient management of urban and peri-urban areas within the Development Area of RUDA. 1SCHEDULE-I Areas included in the existing Development Area of RUDA A.
