ORDER:

In the reference first read above, the Andhra Pradesh Industries Subordinate Service Rules, 1993 were issued. Subsequently, certain amendments have been issued there to from time to time.

2. In the reference second read above, the Government republished the Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organisation of Local Cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order, 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the "Presidential

Order, 2025") in supersession of A.P Public Employment order 1975, in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.

3. In the reference third read above, the Government issued orders organizing the classes of posts/civil posts under the administrative control of Director of Industries, Commerce and Export Promotion into different local cadres, viz., District, Zone and Multi-Zone. In the said G.O., it was directed that, consequent upon the organization of posts, the District, Zone, and Multi-Zone, as the case may be, shall constitute separate units for the purposes of appointment, direct recruitment, discharge, seniority, promotion, transfer, and other service matters in terms of Paragraph 5(1) of the Presidential Order, 2025' The Appointing Authorities have been specified in respect of the said organized posts and reservation to local candidates in respect of direct recruitment of the posts has been specified as ninety-five percent. It was further directed therein to make suitable amendments to the relevant Service Rules in conformity with the approved scheme of organization of local cadres.

In the reference fourth read above, the Director of Industries Commerce and Export Promotion submitted proposals to the Government for issuing necessary amendments to the Service Rules.

5. The Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby accept the proposal of the Director of Industries Commerce and Export Promotion and have decided to issue amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Industries Su bordinate Service Rules, 1993.

6. Accordingly, the following Notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh

NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of lndia and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Industries Subordinate Service Rules, 1993, issued in G.O.[4s.No. 187, Industries and Commerce (IE), Depaltment, dated: 29-04-1993 as subsequently amended from time to time.

The Notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect on and from 15-O7-2O26.

AMENDMENTS In the said Rules, -

(1) in Rule -2, i. Under Class-A, Category (1) is renamed as Industrial Promotion Officer. ii.

The following Classes and Categories of posts shall be omitted: _ CIass-A:

Category (2) Statistical Assistant Category (3) Commercial Artist.

Category (4) Propoganda Officer Category (s) Marketing Inspector Category (6) Draughtsman.

Category (7) Foreman Rural Technology and Development Training Centre, Sangareddy, Medak Dist.

Category (B) Demonstrator in the RT & DTC, Sangareddy Category (e) Demonstrator (Coir).

Category (10) : Hosiery Artisan.

Category (11) : Maistry (Coir) Class- B l Category (1) : Technical Assistant (Lab) including ITDL, Hyderabad, Jr. Chemist, ITDL, Hyderabad, Junior Chemist, MCIL, Cuddapah, Jr.Engineer Page 2 of 5(Mech.) Scientific Assistant (Mech.) (Chemical), (Electrical), Vizag and Jr. Scientific Assistant, Testing Lab Vijayawada.

Category (2) Laboratory Supervisor (Mech.) (Chemical) and (Electrical) including Lab, Supervisor, Vijayawada.

Category (3) Laboratory Assistant Supervisor (including Supervisor (QMS) LE, Hyderabad, Draughtsman, ITDL, Hyderabad) Category (4) Lab Attender.

Class-C:

Category (1) :Mechanic.

Category (2) : Librarian, MCTL, Cuddapah Class - D:

Category (1) : District Level Leather Assistant Category (2) : Footwear Demonstrator Catego ry (3) : Training Demonstrator. -

Class E:

Category : Instructor, Government Training-cum-Production Centre, Furniture, Srikakulam.

Class - F:

Category (1) : Sub-Registrar (Industrial Co-operatives) Category (2) : Senior Inspector (Industrial Co-operatives) Category (3) : Junior Inspector of Co-operation Wherever the above omitted categories of posts, occur in the Rules, the relevant entries shall also be omitted.

Note 2: The posts of IPOS in the O/o HOD will be filled up on tenure basis with the members of service from the local zone cadres.

Note 3: The Unit of Appointment specified in Column (3) of the Table above shall constitute a separate unit for the purposes of appointment, recruitment, discharge, seniority, promotion, transfer, and other service matters in terms of Paragraph 5(1) of the Presidential Order, 2025.

Note 4: The extent of reservation in favour of Iocal candidates in direct recruitment to the categories of posts to be filled by direct recruitment shall be ninety-five percent (95%), as speciFied in the Presidential Order,

2025.

3. In Rule 6,

(i) the following shall be substituted namely;

Qualification: No person shall be eligible for appointment for the category of Industrial Promotion Officer unless he/she possesses a Bachelor Degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act Page 4 of 5or State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Co m mission.

(ii) Annexure to the Rule 6 shall be omitted.
