NOTIFICATION

Whereas, in the Lr.Roc.No.13021/51/2022/H1, dated.18.09.2026, the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, A.P., has requested the Government to extend the term of the Collector and District Magistrate, Kakinada District, Kakinada as Special Officer to Kakinada Municipal Corporation for a further period of six (6) months with effect from

16.09.2026 (or) till the elected body comes into force, whichever is earlier, as the appointment of the Collector and District Magistrate, Kakinada District as Special Officer to Kakinada Municipal Corporation has been expired by 15.09.2026.

3. Therefore, the Government after careful examination hereby extends the term of the Collector and District Magistrate, Kakinada District, Kakinada as Special Officer to Kakinada Municipal Corporation for a further period of six (6) months with effect from

16.09.2026 (or) till the elected body comes into force, whichever is earlier as per the provisions under Section 70-G of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1955, read with Section 14 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporations Act, 1994.
