NOTIFICATION
Whereas, in the Lr.Roc.No.13021/33/2026/H1, dt.18.09.2026, the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, A.P., has requested the Government to extend the term of Special Officers in 86 ULBs viz., 11 Municipal Corporations and 75 Municipalities/Nagar panchayats as shown in the Annexure.
2. In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under sub section (1) of section 62-A of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965, Section 70-G of The Municipal Corporations Act, 1955, Section 9 of the Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Act, 1979 and Section 9 of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Act, 1981, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby extend the term of the Special Officers to the 11 Municipal Corporations and 75 Municipalities/Nagar panchayats mentioned in the Annexure w.e.f.
18.09.2026 for a period of (6) months or till the elected body comes into office, whichever is earlier.
