था, जिसके प्रभावी होने की जतजथ 05.09.2018 थी और इसे दिनांक 12.10.2018 को भारत के रािपत्र में प्रकाजित का.आ. 5259(अ)
के तहत संिोजधत दकया गया था। और जबकक दिनांक 28.12.2023 को भारत के रािपत्र में प्रकाजित का.आ. 5475(अ) के तहत 100
दकलोवाट से अजधक (>100 दकलोवाट) क्षमता के एसपीवी इन्द्वटारों (मि 4-5) के जलए स्ट्व-प्रमाणन को दिनांक 31.12.2024 तक अथवा
अगले आिेि तक, इनमें से िो भी पहले हो, बढाया गया था।
2. और जबकक सीजमत क्षमताओं के जलए परीक्षण सुजवधाओं की उपलब्धता को िेखते हुए, अनुपालन के जलए और अजधक समय
प्रिान करते हुए, 100 दकलोवाट स ेअजधक (>100 दकलोवाट) क्षमता के एसपीवी इनवटारों (मि 4-5) के जलए गुणवत्ता जनयंत्रण आििे
(क्यूसीओ), 2017 के कायाान्द्वयन को स्ट्व-प्रमाणन के आधार पर, इस िता के अध्यधीन दक ऐसे जवजनमाता ाओं के पास इन मिों के जलए उक्त
आिेि में जवजनर्िाष्ट, आईएस के अनुरूप वैध आईईसी प्रमाणपत्र [मि सं. 4 के जलए आईएस 16221 (भाग 2): 2015/आईईसी
62109-2 : 2011 और मि सं. 5 के जलए आईएस 16169 : 2014/आईईसी 62116 : 2008] और मान्द्यता प्राप्त परीक्षण प्रयोगिालाओं
से परीक्षण ररपोटा हो, तादक आिेि का सुचारु कायाान्द्वयन हो सके, दिनाकं 31.12.2024 स े31.12.2025 तक अथवा अगले आिेि तक,
इनमें से िो भी पहले हो, बढाया िाता ह।ै

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 27th January, 2025
S.O. 526(E).—Whereas the Central Government had issued “Solar Photovoltaics, Systems, Devices and
Components Goods (Requirements for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2017” vide S.O. 2920 (E) dated 5.9.2017
for six products included in the Schedule with the date of coming into force with effect from 5.9.2018 and the same was
modified vide S.O. 5259(E) published in Gazette of India dated 12.10.2018. And whereas, self- certification for SPV
inverters (items 4-5) of the capacity of more than 100 kW (>100 kW) was extended up to 31.12.2024 or till further
orders, whichever is earlier vide S.O. 5475(E) published in Gazette of India dated 28.12.2023.
2. And whereas, in view of the availability of test facilities for limited capacities, providing more time for
compliance, the implementation of Quality Control Order(QCO), 2017 for SPV inverters (items 4-5) of the capacity
of more than 100 kW (>100 kW) stands extended from 31.12.2024 to 31.12.2025 or till further orders, whichever is
earlier, based on self-certification, subject to the condition that such manufacturers have valid IEC certificates
corresponding to IS (IS 16221(Part 2):2015/IEC 62109-2:2011 for item No 4 and IS 16169:2014/IEC 62116:2008 for
item No. 5), specified in the said order for these items and test reports from accredited test labs, for smooth
implementation of the order.
