No. 3(450)/2017/AYUSH/HW/ESTT /348.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs O.M. No. 24/78/68- DH(S), dated 24/9/1968, in continuation of Notification No. 2/201/2002/DISMH/Homoeo/826 dated the 18th March, 2016 the Lt. Governor, National Capital Territory of Delhi, after prior consultation with Union Public Service Commission, hereby makes the following rules, further to amend the Delhi Health Services General Duty Medical Officer (Homoeopathy) Rules, 2016 namely calling: - 1. Short Title and commencement – (1) These rules may be called the Delhi Health Services General Duty Medical Officers (Homoeopathy) (Amendment) 2021. (2) They shall be come into force from the date of their publication in the official Gazette. 2. In the Delhi Health Services General Duty Medical Officers (Homoeopathy) Rules, 2016, in rule 7, after sub rule (2), the following clause may be added, namely:- “(3) The contractual General Duty Medical Officers (Homoeopathy) appointed on or before 18/12/2006, who continue to render the service on contractual basis on the date of notification of these amended rules, shall be assessed by the Union Public Service Commission on the basis of their suitability and requisite qualification prescribed for the post of Medical Officer (Homoeopathy) and if found fit, shall be deemed to have been appointed under these rules and shall be members of the service at the entry level from the date of notification of these amended rules.” By Order and in the Name of Lt.
