Whereas, it appears to the Government that a total of 2.38.0 hectares of land is required in the Tiruvavaduthurai
village in Kuthalam Taluk, in Mayiladuthurai District for a public purpose, namely, in construction of Government Arts
and science College (Co-Education)
Now, Therefore, a declaration is made here by that a piece of land measuring 2.38.0 Hectares is under acquisition
for the above said project in the Thiruvavaduthurai village in Kuthalam Taluk/in Mayiladuthurai District whose

The notification is issued under sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency
in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), to all whom it may concern.
A plan of the land may be inspected on any working day during office hours in the office of the Collector and
the Erode Corporation (Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department).
The Government is pleased to authorize the Erode Corporation (Municipal Administration and Water Supply
Department) and its staff to enter upon the land under survey, take levels of any land, dig or bore into the sub-soil,
and carry out all other acts necessary for the proper execution of their work, as provided and specified under Section
12 of the said Act.
Under sub-section (4) of Section 11 of the said Act, no person shall make or cause to be made any transaction
in respect of the land, such as sale, purchase, etc., or create any encumbrance on the said land from the date of
publication of this notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, without the prior approval of the Collector.80 TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE [Part VI—Sec. 1
Objections to the acquisition, if any, may be filed by the persons interested within sixty (60) days from the date
of publication of this notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, as provided under Section 15 of the said
Act, before the Collector.

3. No plaint or petition except application for grant of copies and batta Memos for service and execution of Process
will be received by the Civil Courts during the Vacation.
4. The Office of Copyist, Process Service and Execution Department shall be kept open throughout the vacation and
that no arrest warrant shall be executed during the vacation. The Office of the other departments shall remain closed.
Arrangements shall, however, be made.
i. for furnishing the Copies and sending Process.
ii. for transmitting the records to the High Court required in pending Proceedings.
iii. for attending all administrative correspondence.
5. In view of the instructions contained in the Criminal Rules of Practice and Circular Orders and as ordered in
High Court’s Circular R.O.C.No.2/64-C-3, dated : 29th April, 1964 applications in urgent Criminal matters should be made
to the High Court. However, urgent applications can also be made to the vacation Sessions Judge, Virudhunagar district
at Srivilliputtur if appointed to hear urgent Criminal applications relating to Virudhunagar District.
6. Under Section 30 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act as amended by Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Act 17 of 1959

Conferment of Magisterial Powers on Certain Revenue Officials

No.10/2026, In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 11 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023
(Act No. 46 of 2023), the High Court hereby appoints the following (i) One Tahsildar (Trainee) in Dindigul District
(ii) One Tahsildar (Trainee) in Krishnagiri District (iii) 7 Tahsildars in Chennai District (iv) 2 Tahsildars and
6 Deputy Tahsildars in Tiruppur District (v) 4 Deputy Tahsildars in Mayiladuthurai District (vi) 8 Deputy Tahsildars
in Villupuram District and (vii) 6 Deputy Tahsildars in Tiruvarur District, as Special Judicial Magistrates, to undergo
Magisterial Training for a period of 120 days / 180 days (as the case may be) from the date of assumption of charge and
confers upon them the ordinary powers conferable under this Code on a Judicial Magistrate to try such cases which were
earlier triable and dealt with by an erstwhile Judicial Second Class Magistrate.

1971 the Member-Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority hereby makes the following variation under

Under the heading “Industrial land use” the expression S.F.Nos: 386/1A, 386/1B, 387/2, 399/2A shall be substituted
inserted between S.F.No. 263pt and 395pt.
Under the heading “Agricultural land use” the expression S.F.Nos: 386,387,399 shall be deleted and the expression
S.F.Nos: 386pt (except 386/1A, 386/1B), 387pt (except 387/2) 399 pt (except 399/2A) shall be substituted.

1. In exercise of power conferred under sub-section (4) of Section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town and Country
Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) and in exercise of powers confirmed by the G.O.Ms.No.94
Housing and Urban Development, dated 12.06.2009 which has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette
No.27, Part II—Section 2, Page - 228 dated 15.07.2009.
2. Land use zone conversion from Agricultural use zone into Residential Use Zone ordered in G.O.(2D) No.12,
Housing and Urban Development [UD4(NPM-1)] Department, dated 13.01.2026, the following variation are made to the
Master Plan of Mamallapuram Local Planning Authority approved under the said act and published in the
G.O.Ms. No.153 H & UD [UD4(2)] dated 20.06.2013, Notification No. 28, at page No. 481 of Part II—Section 2 of the
Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 17th July 2013.
Variation
In the Mamallapuram Master Plan under the heading permitted land use in various survey numbers of Mamallapuram
Local Planning Area, under heading in 52. Thaiyur Village, Page No: 119 the following entries should be made.
1. Thaiyur Village, against the entry 1. Residential Use Zone the following survey number shall be added
s.nos. 500/1 & 501/1 after the S.No: 493 to 497.
2. Thaiyur Village, against the entry 7. Agricultural Use Zone (Reserved Forest) the following survey number shall
be substituted 499, 500 (except 500/1), 501 (except 501/1), 502 to 505 instead of 499 to 505.
