and Allotment) Order, 2006, and also other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Tamil Nadu State Election Commission
hereby makes the following amendment to the Notification No. VI(2)/373/(d-3)/2006, published at pages 28 to 39 of
Part VI-Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 11th September 2006, as subsequently
amended:—

Whereas, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission, in exercise of its powers conferred on it by clasue (g)
of sub-section (1) of Section 86 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (Act 36 of 2003), specified and notified in the Tamil Nadu
Government Gazette, dated the 18th February 2004, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission Fees and Fines
Regulations, 2004;
And whereas, it is considered necessary to issue amendments to the said Regulations for the purpose of removing
certain difficulties in regard to making provision for collection of fees in respect of certain functions which were not distinctly
covered earlier, and the same have undergone previous publication;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by clause (g) of sub-section (1) of Section 86 of the Electricity
Act, 2003 (Act 36 of 2003), and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission
makes the following amendments to the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission - Fees and Fines Regulations, 2004

(i) These Regulations may be called the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission Fees and Fines (Amendment)
Regulations, 2009.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
2. Amendment of Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations:
In Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulation, in the Table, for item 4 and the entries relating thereto, the following item
and entries shall be substituted, namely:—

(i) If the agreement is for a period of one year and above which Rs. 2500/- per MW
