No. F. 27(40)/CIF/2001/Lab./868.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 8
of the Factories Act, 1948 (Act 63 of 1948), read with Government of India, Ministry of Labour and
Employment, Notification No. S.O. 108 dated the 14th February, 1958 and Ministry of Home Affairs Notification
No. S.O. 2709, dated the 7th September, 1966, in supersession of this Government’s Notification No.
F.27(40)/CIF/2001/Lab./12071-12088 dated the 31st December, 2013, the Lt. Governor of the National Capital
Territory of Delhi is pleased to confer the powers of Chief Inspector of Factories on Sh. S. Pandia Rajan, Deputy
Chief Inspector of Factories as the Chief Inspector of Factories for the National Capital Territory of Delhi for the
purpose of discharging statutory duties under the said Act, without any benefit of pay, seniority or regular
appointment to this post on the basis of temporary arrangement, being the Competent Authority with effect from
the date of assuming charge.
