Delhi, the 11th November, 2020
No. F.12(143)/2019/L&B/Plg./RERA TRIBUNAL-I/4578.—Whereas the Ministry of Home Affairs,
Government of India, vide Notification S.O. No. 1395 (E) published in Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) of the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary Dated 2nd May, 2017 directed that powers of the appropriate Government under the
Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (16 of 2016) shall, subject to the control of the President and
until further orders, be exercised, in relation to the National Capital Territory of Delhi, by the Lieutenant Governor
thereof;
And whereas the Lieutenant Governor, National Capital Territory of Delhi being the appropriate
Governmentapproved constitution of the Selection Committee under the provision of Sub-section (3) of Section 46 of
the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016(16 of 2016) for the purpose of selection of Members of the
Real Estate Appellate Tribunal for National Capital Territory of Delhi and Union Territory of Chandigarh.
And whereas the Selection Committee for the selection of Member (Judicial) and Member (Technical or
Administrative) of the Real Estate Appellate Tribunal for National Capital Territory of Delhi and Union Territory of
Chandigarh has recommended the names to the appropriate Government, National Capital Territory of Delhi for
appointment of Member (Judicial) and Member (Technical or Administrative)of the Real Estate Appellate Tribunal[PART IV DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 3
for National Capital Territory of Delhi and Union Territory of Chandigarh under the provision of Sub-rule(3)of Rule
25 of The National Capital Territory of Delhi Real Estate (Regulation and Development) (General) Rules, 2016.
Now, therefore, in exercise of powers under Sub-section (3) of Section 46 of the Real Estate (Regulation and
Development) Act, 2016 (16 of 2016) read with Government of India S.O. No. 1395 (E) dated the 2nd May, 2017, the
Lieutenant Governor, National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to appoint the following as Member (Judicial) and
Member (Technical or Administrative) of the Real Estate Appellate Tribunal for the National Capital Territory of
Delhi and Union Territory of Chandigarh:-
1. Shri Lorren Bamniyal Son of Late Shri K. L. Bamniyal - Member (Judicial)
2. Shri Sheo Pratap Singh Son of Late Shri Sarv Sukh Singh - Member (Technical or Administrative)
The tenure of office of the Member (Judicial) and Member (Technical or Administrative) of the Real Estate
Appellate Tribunal for the National Capital Territory of Delhi and Union Territory of Chandigarh shall be five years
or till attaining the age ofsixty-five years, whichever is earlier, from the date they enter upon their officeand shall not
be eligible for re-appointment.
The terms and conditions of service of appointment will be notified separately.
