Performing other duties identified by the RMO/Dean, requiring specialized medical knowledge.
Arranging books in libraries and providing clerical assistance.
Cleaning of classrooms, labs, grounds of educational institutions.
Cleaning and maintenance of municipal areas, parks, and beaches.
Removing weeds from roadsides.
Traffic regulation and crowd control.
Duration of Service:
The duration of community service ranges from one day to thirty-one days, equating to forty to two hundred and forty hours.
Discretion of the Court:
These guidelines do not curtail the discretion of the Court to award other modes of community service under Section 4f of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

Guidelines for Community Services
In supersession of Notification F. No. 11/08/2024/HP-II/Part File/1527-1535 dated 16.05.2025, the amended
guidelines for Community Services will be as under:
F. No. 11/08/2024/HP-II/ Part File/ 2687-2695— In relation to Section 4(f) of the Bharatiya Nyaya
Sanhita, 2023, and in exercise of the Powers conferred by relevant sections of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita,
2023, the Lieutenant Governor of National Capital territory of Delhi hereby makes the following guidelines for award
of Community Services as punishment:
