Tel. 080-22034625 Fax. 080-22353932 No. CI 17 SPQ 2025 Date: 10.02.2025 NOTIFICATION-II In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 8 of the Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023), the Government of Karnataka hereby designate the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) as the Regional Development Authority for the Hassan Special Investment Region and is empowered to exercise all the powers and perform all the functions as specified under section 15 of the said Act. Tel. 080-22034625 Fax. 080-22353932 No. CI 17 SPQ 2025 Date: 10.02.2025 NOTIFICATION-III Whereas, the Government of Karnataka has declared Hassan Growth Centre, Growth Centre Sub-Layouts, Hassan Textile Zone, Biotechnology and Pharma Zone industrial areas, Hassan Taluk, Hassan District as the Hassan Special Investment Region published vide Notification-I, No. CI 17 SPQ 2025, dated 10.02.2025 as under sub- section (1) of section 3 of the Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023). And whereas, the Government of Karnataka has designated the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) as the Regional Development Authority for the Hassan Special Investment Region, published vide Notification-II, No. CI 17 SPQ 2025, dated 10.02.2025 as under sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 8 of the said Act. Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 29 of the said Act, the Hassan Special Investment Region shall deemed to be an Industrial Township and the Government of Karnataka hereby declare that the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (Regional Development Authority) to be the Industrial Township Authority. Also, the Government of Karnataka hereby accord permission to exercise powers and discharge functions of Industrial Township Authority by the Regional Development Authority under sub-sections (2) and (3) of section 29 of said Act.
