High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL), a premier laboratory of the
Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), successfully organised the
National-Level Combined Rajbhasha Scientific and Technical Sangoshthi (ACE
Cluster) on 11–12 December 2025. The event was themed “Contribution of DRDO
for Developed India @2047”, highlighting India’s strides toward technological
superiority and self-reliance in defence systems, while also advancing the use of
Rajbhasha Hindi in scientific and technical communication.
The event was inaugurated by Padma Shri Dr. Santram Deshwal “Saumya”, who
graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, in the presence of Dr. Himanshu Shekhar,
Scientist ‘G’ & Officiating Director, HEMRL.Prof. (Dr.) Prateek Kishore, Distinguished Scientist & Director General (Armaments
and Combat Engineering Systems), and Dr. A. P. Dash, Outstanding Scientist &
Director, HEMRL, joined the ceremony via video link.
Over the two days, the Sangoshthi witnessed extensive participation from DRDO
laboratories nationwide, with HEMRL’s scientists and officers contributing
significantly through more than 150 scientific papers and research presentations.
The programme included technical sessions by eminent scholars, interactive
discussions on emerging defence technologies, and focused deliberations on DRDO’s
role in shaping India’s advanced defence ecosystem.
