* **Summary:** This notice publishes a draft notification regarding the revision of minimum wages for those employed in embroidery and Zari work in Tamil Nadu. Objections or suggestions must be sent to the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Labour Welfare and Skill Development Department, Secretariat, Chennai – 600 009. The proposed minimum daily wages are:
* **Skilled Workers:** Rs. 407.00 (includes Designers, Frame Fitting and Setting Workers, Paper Tracing/Dyeing Workers, Aari Workers, Zardosi Workers and Aari and Zardosi Worker)

* **Summary:** The Governor of Tamil Nadu introduces amendments to the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Construction Workers) Welfare Scheme, 1994, to include financial assistance for transporting the body of a manual worker who dies due to an accident at the workplace.
* **Amendments:** A new section, 14B, is added to provide financial assistance to the nominee or legal heirs for transporting the deceased worker's body from the hospital to their native place. "Accident" is defined, excluding intentional self-harm, suicide, deaths due to intoxication, or violation of laws/rules.
