No. SRO A-17/2016.- in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1), (2) and (3) of Section 180 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1983), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Rules, 1988:
In the said Rules, in rule 101-A, for sub-rule (1), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:-
"(1) No person shall be eligible for appointment as an auditor of the Government unless he is an officer of the Government under the control of the Director of Co-operative Audit or the Director of Audit for Milk Co-operatives, as the case may be".
