Whereas, the said Gazette was made available to the public on 23.09.2021; And whereas objections and suggestions received within the period above have been examined. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act No. 14 of 1990), the Government of Karnataka, hereby makes the following rules, namely:- (1)R.N.I. Title and commencement:- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka State (Forensic Science Laboratory Services) (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2021. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment to schedule 1.- In Schedule 1 of the Karnataka State (Forensic Science Laboratory Services) (Recruitment) Rules, 2017 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules) after serial no. 43, the following shall be inserted, namely:- " 1 2 3 4 5 43(A) Scene of 206 By Direct For Direct Recruitment:- Crime Officer Recruitment Must be holder of Bachelor Degree in ( (37900-70850) Forensic Science with at least 55% aggregate marks from the University established by Law Or Must be a holder of Bachelor Degree in Science with at least 55% aggregate marks from the University established by Law with one year diploma in Forensic Science with at least 55% aggregate marks from recognized Institution. Or Must be a holder of Bachelor Degree in Science with at least 55% aggregate marks from the University established by Law with master degree in Forensic Science with at least 55% aggregate marks. " 2. Amendment of schedule 2.- In schedule 2 of the said rules, in paragraph 2 for the words and figures "at serial no. 31 to 43" the words and figures "at serial no. 31 to 43(A)" shall be substituted.
