The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur successfully hosted the 2nd IIM Nagpur
Case & Research Conference (CRC 2026) from 6–8 February 2026, in collaboration
with Ivey Publishing, reinforcing its growing leadership in case-based research and
pedagogy.
CRC 2026 reflected IIM Nagpur’s strategic focus on developing India-centric case
studies with global relevance. The conference commenced on 6 February with a Pre-
Conference Case Writing and Teaching Workshop, bringing together faculty
members, research scholars, and students from leading national and international
institutions.Eminent resource persons from AIM Manila, IIM Ahmedabad, ISB Hyderabad, and
Ivey Publishing led structured sessions on case development, classroom integration,
and pedagogical innovation. The workshop recorded participation from 107
participants across online and offline modes, including 50 participants from 10
partner institutions and 57 participants from other institutions, reflecting strong
engagement across the academic ecosystem.
The main conference, held on 7–8 February, featured expert sessions, dedicated
case writing and teaching tracks, case presentations, and research paper
presentations, creating a robust platform for scholarly exchange and collaboration.
The conference received an overwhelming response, with 917 submissions and 663
registered participants, including 142 registrations from partner institutions. Overall,
the conference and associated activities together recorded 805 registrations,
underscoring its scale and reach.
Participants represented premier institutions across India, including 63 participants
from various Indian Institutes of Management and representation from 12 Indian
Institutes of Technology, alongside 36 international participants from institutions
across the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, SAARC
nations, and other regions, highlighting the conference’s expanding global footprint.
CRC 2026 was organised through IIM Nagpur’s Case Study Centre, established in
collaboration with Ivey Publishing. IIM Nagpur is the third IIM in India and the first
among the new-generation IIMs to host a dedicated Case Study Centre,
systematically building an ecosystem for high-quality, India-rooted case research
aligned with global academic standards.
The successful second edition of CRC marks significant growth in participation,
submissions, and international engagement, firmly positioning IIM Nagpur as a
preferred destination and leading hub for case research, pedagogy, and scholarly
collaboration in India.
