State-wise details of cotton purchases from local farmers by Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) during the last ten years, along with value is at below. Out of the total procurement of 100.16 lakh bales under the Minimum Support Price (MSP) operations during the 2024–25 cotton season, 71.54 lakh bales have been sold through e-auction as of 04.08.2025, and unsold stock is 28.62 lakh bales. a. the Central Nodal Agency for implementing Minimum Support Price (MSP) operations for cotton, the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) procures cotton when market prices of seed cotton (kapas) fall below the MSP.
