As per section-14 of the said ordinance, it has overriding effect on any State APMC Act or any other law for the time being in force or any instrument having effect by virtue of any law for the time being in force. Whereas, Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has enacted an Act named “The Delhi Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1998” (Delhi Act No.7 of 1999) which is in force from 2nd June, 1999. And, whereas certain provisions of the said Act and Rules made thereunder relating to the market area of Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee Najafgarh, Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee Narela and Fish, Poultry and Egg Market, Ghazipur are inconsistent therewith the provisions of the said ordinance. The declared market area of these Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee / Markets includes area outside their physical boundaries. And, whereas Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi in order to give effect to the proviso of the said Ordinance consider it necessary to redefine the market area of above named Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee located at Najafgarh, Narela and Ghazipur. Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section- 3 and sub section (4) of section- 4 of the Delhi Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1998, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to declare that the regulation of marketing of agriculture produce as defined under section- 14 of above said ordinance shall cease beyond the markets / market yards / sub yards of respective marketing committees namely Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee, Najafgarh, Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee, Narela and Fish, Poultry and Egg Market Ghazipur with immediate effect, and henceforth market area of these committees shall have the following boundaries : 1. APMC, Najafgarh (Market Yard) bounded by; East : Aggarwal Colony West : Bahadurgarh Jharoda Road. North : Baba Haridas Nagar. South : Indira Colony & Aggarwal Colony. 2. APMC, Narela (Old grain market) bounded by; South East : Narela Alipur Road. South West : Mandi extension colony North West : Narela Railway Station. North East : Nai Basti Colony. 3. APMC Narela (New grain market) bounded by; South East : Narela Alipur Road South West : DDA office. North West : Delhi Chandigarh Railway Line.
