Delhi, the 9th March, 2017
No.F.82(265)/AD-III/Amendment PwDAct/DSW/09/32564-572.—In exercise of powers conferred under
Section 60 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995
(Central Act No. 1 of 1996) read with the Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs notification No. U-11030/3/96 –UTL,
dated the 5th December, 1997, the Lt. Governor, National Capital Territory of Delhi, hereby appoints Sh. T.D. Dhariyal,
as Commissioner (Persons with Disabilities) for the purpose of the said Act. He shall exercise the powers conferred on
and perform the functions assigned to the said Commissioner, under the said Act in the whole of the National Capital
Territory of Delhi w.e.f. the date of publication of the notification. The term of Commissioner will be for the period of 3
years from the date of joining or 65 years whichever is earlier.
