S.O. 2027(E).—In exercise of the power conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 17 of the Sick Textile
Undertaking (Nationalization) Act, 1974 (57 of 1974), Sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Swadeshi Cotton Mills
Company Limited (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertaking) Act, 1986 and Sub-section (1) of Section 17 of Textile
Undertaking (Nationalization) Act, 1995 (39 of 1995), the Central Government appoint Shri Prem Kumar Kataria,
Additional Secretary, as Commissioner of Payments w.e.f. 10.05.2019 and defines the local limits within which the said
Commissioner of Payments shall exercise the powers conferred and perform the duties imposed on him, as the whole of
India.
