(1) These rules may be called the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Three Hundred and Twenty Fourth Amendment Rules, 2016. (2) They shall come into force at once. 2. In the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961,- (1) in THE FIRST SCHEDULE, under the heading “34. Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (Samajik Nyaya aur Adhikarita Mantralaya)”, for the sub-heading “(ii) Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Viklangjan Sashaktikaran Vibhag)”, the following sub-heading shall be substituted, namely:- “(ii) Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) (Divyangjan Sashaktikaran Vibhag)”; (2) in THE SECOND SCHEDULE, under the heading “MINISTRY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT (SAMAJIK NYAYA AUR ADHIKARITA MANTRALAYA)’’,- (i) for the sub-heading “B. DEPARTMENT OF EMPOWERMENT OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (VIKLANGJAN SASHAKTIKARAN VIBHAG)”, the following sub-heading shall be substituted, namely:- “B. DEPARTMENT OF EMPOWERMENT OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (DIVYANGJAN) (DIVYANGJAN SASHAKTIKARAN VIBHAG) ”; (ii) under the sub-heading “B. DEPARTMENT OF EMPOWERMENT OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (DIVYANGJAN) (DIVYANGJAN SASHAKTIKARAN VIBHAG)”, as so substituted, after entry 4, in the ‘Note’, for the words “Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities”, the words “Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan)”, shall be substituted.
