NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th July, 2016
S.O. 2577(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of article 77 of the Constitution,
the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government of India (Allocation of
Business) Rules, 1961, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Three Hundred
and Twenty Eighth Amendment Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force at once.
2. In the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, in THE SECOND SCHEDULE,-
(1) under the heading “MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS (KORPORATE KARYA
MANTRALAYA)”, after entry 12, the following entry shall be inserted, namely:-
“13. Administration of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.”.
(2) under the heading “MINISTRY OF FINANCE (VITTA MANTRALAYA)’’,-
(i) under the sub-heading “A. DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AFFAIRS (ARTHIK
KARYA VIBHAG)”, entry 107 shall be omitted;
(ii) under the sub-heading “E. DEPARTMENT OF FINANCIAL SERVICES (VITTIYA
SEWAYEN VIBHAG)”, in entry 22, the words and figure “and entry 9 of the
Concurrent List” shall be omitted.
