F.No. ED3 (Misc-19)/Lab-EI/2013/2669-2682.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section
3 of the Bombay Lifts Act, 1939 (Bombay Act No. X of 1939) as extended to National Capital Territory of Delhi, read
with section 8 of the said Act, the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to confer
the powers of ‘Inspector of Lifts’ on the Assistant Electrical Inspectors working in the Labour Department,
Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi to be an ‘Inspector of Lifts’ for the purpose of the said Act for the
National Capital Territory of Delhi until further orders without any extra remuneration.
