NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 2nd January, 2020
S.O. 69(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Sub-Section (3) of Section 5
read with clause (c) of Sub-Section (1) of Section 6 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of
1956), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Amit Khare, Secretary, Department of Higher
Education in the Ministry of Human Resource Development as Member of the University Grants
Commission until further orders or till such time Shri Amit Khare occupies the post of Secretary,
Department of Higher Education in the Ministry of Human Resource Development, whichever is earlier,
vice Shri R. Subrahmanyam.
