NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 2nd November, 2020
G.S.R. 691(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (ze) of sub-section (2) of section 87 of the
Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to
amend the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Indian Computer Emergency Response Team
(CERT-In), Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ posts, Recruitment Rules, 2017, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Electronics and Information
Technology, Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Posts, Recruitment
Amendment Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Indian Computer Emergency Response Team
(CERT-In), Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ posts, Recruitment Rules, 2017, (hereinafter referred to as said rules) in the
Schedule, against serial No. 1 relating to the post of Scientist ‘F’ in Column (7) under sub-heading “(1) Educational
Qualifications:” in item (a) after the word “Telecommunication”, the words “or Electrical” shall be inserted.
3. In the said rules, in the schedule, against serial no. 2 relating to the post of Scientist ‘E’ in Column No. (7) under
sub heading “(1) Educational Qualifications:” in item (a) after the word “Telecommunication”, the words “or
Electrical” shall be inserted.
4. In the said rules, in the schedule, against serial no. 3 relating to the post of Scientist ‘D’ in Column No. (7)
under sub heading “(1) Educational Qualifications” in item (a) after the word “Telecommunication”, the words “ or
Electrical” shall be inserted.
5. In the said rules, in the schedule, against serial no. 4 relating to the post of Scientist ‘C’ in Column No. (7)[भाग II—खण् ड 3(i)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3
under sub heading “(1) Educational Qualifications:” in item (a) after the word “Telecommunication”, the words “or
Electrical” shall be inserted.
