New Delhi, the 19th October, 2020
S.O. 3663(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (b) and (c) of sub-section (3) of
section 5 of the Seamen's Provident Fund Act, 1966 (4 of l966) read with sub-paragraph (2) of paragraph 3
of the Seamen's Provident Fund Scheme, 1966, the Central Government hereby makes the following further
amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Shipping number vide
S.O. 4609 (E) dated the 19th December, 2019 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II,
Section 3, Sub-section (ii), namely:-
2. In the said notification, for serial numbers 4 and 7 and entries relating thereto, the following serial
numbers and entries shall in particular be substituted, namely:-
"4. Additional Central Provident Fund Commissioner, Employees' Provident Fund
Organisation or his nominee".
"7. Shri P.K. Rane, Deputy General Manager (Tax & Allied), Shipping Corporation of India
Ltd., Representative of Indian National Shipowners' Association"
