File/1011.— In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, and in supersession of the Department of Revenue, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, Recruitment Rules relating to the post of Drivers published vide Notification No. F. 10/12/GA/Estt./DC/HQ/2013/1375, Dt : 19-08-2015, the Lt. Governor, National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby makes the rules regulating the method of recruitment to the posts of “Staff Car Driver, Ordinary Grade, Grade I and Grade II” in the Revenue Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi as following, namely:— 1. Short title and commencement.- (i) These rules may be called “Staff Car Drivers”, Recruitment Rules, 2019. (ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Delhi Gazette. 2. Number of Posts, classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.- The number of post, their classification and Level in the Pay Matrix shall be specified in columns 2 to 4 of the Schedules I to III annexed with these rules. 3. Method of recruitment, age limit and other qualifications, etc.- The method of recruitment to the said posts, age limit, qualifications and other matter relating thereto shall be as specified in the columns 5 to 13 of the said Schedules. 4. Disqualifications.- No person, – (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or (b) who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts: Provided that the Government may, if satisfied, that such marriage is permissible under the personnel law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other ground for so doing exempt any person from the operation of this rule. 5. Power to relax.- Where the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary expedient so to do, it may by order, and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of this rule with respect of any class or category of persons. 6. Saving.- Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Ex-servicemen or any special category of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Government from time to time in this regard. File/1011.—In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, and in supersession of the Department of Revenue, GNCT of Delhi, Recruitment Rules relating to the post of Drivers published vide Notification No. F. 10/12/GA/Estt./DC/HQ/2013/1375, Dt : 19-08-2015, the Lt. Governor, National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby makes the rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of “Staff Car Driver, Special Grade” in the Revenue Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi as following namely:- 1. Short title and commencement.- (i) These rules may be called “Staff Car Driver, Special Grade” Recruitment Rules, 2019. (ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Delhi Gazette. 2. Number of Posts, classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.- The number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix shall be specified in columns 2 to 4 of the Schedule attached with these rules. 3. Method of recruitment, age limit and other qualifications, etc.- The method of recruitment to the said post, age limit, qualifications and other matter relating thereto shall be as specified in the columns 5 to 13 of the said Schedule. 4. Disqualifications.- No person, – (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or (b) who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the said post: Provided that the Government may, if satisfied, that such marriage is permissible under the personnel law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other ground for so doing exempt any person from the operation of this rule. 5. Power to relax.- Where the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary expedient so to do, it may by order, and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of this rule with respect of any class or category of persons. 6. Saving.- Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Ex-servicemen or any special category of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Government from time to time in this regard.
