New Delhi, the 6th December, 2016
S.O. 3649(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 1986
(63 of 1986), the Central Government after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards hereby makes the following
amendment in the Stainless Steel Products (Quality Control) Order, 2016, published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), (cid:118)(cid:100)(cid:105)(cid:101) notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Steel,
number S.O. 2061 (E), dated the 10th June, 2016, namely:—
1. This Order may be called the Stainless Steel Products (Quality Control) (Second Amendment) Order, 2016.
2. In the Stainless Steel Products (Quality Control) Order, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the principal order), in
paragraph 1, in sub-paragraph (2), for the words “three months”, the figures and words “242 days”, shall be
substituted.
