1. संजिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ और लाग ू होना : (1) इस आदेि का संजिप्त नाम एजनजलन (मानक जनयंत्रण)
आदेि, 2019 ह ै।
(2) य े3 अगस्ट्त, 2020 से प्रर्त्तृ होगा ।
2. मानक जचह्नन का अजनर्ाय वउपयोग नीचे सारणी के स्ट्तंभ 1 में जर्जनर्ददष्ट माल या र्स्ट्तुएं उि सारणी के
स्ट्तंभ (2) में तत्सस्ट्थानी भारतीय मानक के अनुरूप होंगे और उन पर भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो (अनरूु प
जनधावरण) जर्जनयम, 2018 की अनुसूची-2 की स्ट्कीम-1 के अनुसार भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो से अनुज्ञजप्त के
अधीन मानक जचह्नन होगा :
परंतु इस आदेि की कोई बात जनयावत के जलए बनाई गई उि सारणी के स्ट्तंभ (2) में जर्जनर्ददष्ट माल या
र्स्ट्तुएं के संबंध में लाग ूनहीं होगी, िो जर्देिी क्ेता द्वारा अपेजित जर्र्ननदेि के अनुरूप ह ै।
3. प्रमाणीकरण और प्रर्तव न प्राजधकरण.— इस आदेि के अधीन मानक जचह्नन की अनरूु पता को प्रमाजणत
और प्रर्र्नतत करन े के जलए प्राजधकारी होगा ।

4. उल्लघं न के जलए िाजस्ट्त— इस आदिे के उपबंधों का कोई उल्लंघन भारतीय मानक ब्यरू ो अजधजनयम,
2016 की धारा 29 की उपधारा (3) और उपधारा (4) के अधीन जर्जहत दडं का दायी होगा ।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 15th January, 2020
S.O. 203(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards
Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), and in supersession of the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of
Chemicals and Fertilizers (Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals) number S.O. 2792(E), dated the
5th August, 2019 except as respect things due or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central
Government, being of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, after consulting
the Bureau of Indian Standards hereby makes the following Order, namely:-
1. Short title, commencement and application. - (1) This Order may be called the Aniline (Quality
Control) Order, 2019.
(2) It shall come into force with effect from the 3rd day of August, 2020.
2. Compulsory use of Standard Mark. - Goods or articles specified in the column (1) of the table
below shall conform to the corresponding Indian Standard given in column (2) of the said table and
shall bear the Standard Mark under a license from the Bureau of Indian Standards granted as per
Scheme-I of Schedule-II of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations,
2018:
Provided that nothing in this Order shall apply in relation to goods or articles specified in
column (2) of the said table meant for export, which conform to the specification required by the
foreign buyer.
3. Certification and enforcement Authority. - The Bureau of Indian Standards shall be the authority
to certify and enforce conformity to the Standard Mark under this Order.
4. Penalty for Contravention. - Any contravention of the provisions of this Order shall attract the
punishment prescribed under sub-section (3) and sub-section (4) of section 29 of the Bureau of
Indian Standards Act, 2016.
