Delhi, the 17th August, 2017
No. F. 106/COT/WFD/16-17/3556-64.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29 of the Delhi
Preservation of Trees Act, 1994 (Delhi Act 11 of 1994), the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi,
hereby, in public interest exempts an area of total 1.44 ha. (approx) as detailed below for construction of 24 meter wide
approach road from Mehrauli Mahipalpur Road (CRPF Camp Andheria Mor) to the Institute of Liver and Biliary
Science (ILBS) Hospital Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, from the provision of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the said Act.

(a) The applicant shall make an advance deposit of an amount of Rs. 51,87,000 /- (Rupees Fifty One Lakh Eighty
Seven Thousand Only) towards security deposit for creation and maintenance of compensatory plantation for a

a) The compensatory plantation will be raised and maintained for Seven years and monitored till its successful
establishment by following manners:—
(ii) 910 Nos. by the User Agency in at the available land at Sultangarhi Area, Rangpuri Pahari.
b) The timber obtained from felling of 91 trees shall be auctioned by the land owning agency and deposit the
proceeds as revenue to the government.
c) The firewood, if any, obtained on removal of firewood species of trees shall be handed over by the Delhi
Development Authority (DDA) to the officials concerned of Municipal Corporation of Delhi for its use on
public crematoria in Delhi free of cost.
d) Before shifting of wood if any, from site of removal of trees, transportation permission for transportation of the
said wood shall be obtained from Tree Officer (West)
