the Government of National Capital
Territory of Delhi considers it necessary to do so in the public interest,
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 29 of the Delhi Preservation of
Trees Act, 1994 (Delhi Act 11 of 1994), the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby
exempts an area of total 3.068 ha. (approx) as detailed below for construction of 3000 EWS Multi-storeyed
housing scheme of DDA clusters, a (Turnkey Project) New Delhi by Delhi Development Authority (DDA),
from the provision of Sub-Section (3) of Section 9 of the said Act.

a) 'fhe applicant shall make an advance deposit of an amount of Rs. 7,72,800 (Rupees Seven Lakh
Seventy Two Thousand Eight Hundred Only) towards security for creation and maintenance of
compensatory plantation for a period of 5 (five) years as follows:--

c) The firewood (if any) obtained on removal of firewood species of trees shall be handed over by the
DDA to the officials concerned of MCD for its use on public crematoria in Delhi in consultation with
the territorial DCF, if applicable.
d) Before shifting of wood if any, from site of removal of trees, transportation permission for
transportation of the said wood shall be obtained from Tree Officer (South).
