S.O. 3347(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Coal Bearing Areas
(Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), the Central Government hereby appoints the officers
specified in column (2) of the Schedule below, to be the competent authority for the purpose of such of the
sections of the said Act, as are specified against the said competent authority in the corresponding entry in
column (4) thereof in respect of the areas specified in column (5) falling within the jurisdiction of the
Singareni Collieries Company Limited, Kothagudem Collieries- 507 101, District Khammam, Telangana
State as specified in column (3) of the said Schedule.
