New Delhi, the 28th May, 2021
S.O. 2100(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Public Premises (Eviction
of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 (40 of 1971), the Central Government hereby appoints the officer
mentioned in column (2) of the Table below, being an officer equivalent to the rank of gazetted officer of
the Government of India, to be estate officer for the purpose of the said Act who shall exercise the powers
conferred and perform the duties imposed on estate officer by or under the Act, within the local limits of his
jurisdiction, in respect of the public premises specified in column (3) of the said Table:-
