New Delhi, the 03rd December, 2019
G.S.R. 892(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Public Premises (Eviction of
Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 (Act No. 40 of 1971), the Central Government hereby appoints the officer
mentioned in the column (1) of the Table below, being the officer of the Mumbai Port Trust holding Class I post of this
statutory organization which is equivalent to the rank of Gazetted Officer of Government of India, to be Estate Officer
for the purpose of said Act, who will exercise the powers conferred and perform the duties imposed on the Estate
Officers by or under the said Act, in respect of the premises specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the
said Table:
