NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th July, 2017
G.S.R. 951(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Public Premises (Eviction of
Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971 (40 of 1971), the Central Government hereby appoints the officer mentioned in
column (1) of the Table below, being an officer of the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust and being an officer equivalent to the
rank of a Gazetted Officer of the Government of India, to be the Estate Officer for the purposes of the said Act, who shall
exercise the powers conferred and perform the duties imposed on an Estate Officer by or under the said Act, in respect of
the public premises specified in the corresponding entry in Column (2) of the said Table.
