New Delhi, the 2nd December, 2019
G.S.R. 891(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Public Premises (Eviction
of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971 (Act No. 40 of 1971), the Central Government hereby appoints the
officer mentioned in the column (2) of the Table below, being officer of the Visakhapatnam Port Trust
equivalent to the rank of the Gazetted officer of the Government of India to be Estate Officer for the purpose
of said Act and the said officer shall exercise the powers conferred and perform the duties imposed on the
Estate Officer by or under the said Act, within the local limits of his jurisdiction in respect of the Public
Premises specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said table.
