Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi • rescinded the Delhi Edible Oils (Licensing and Control) Order, 1977. vide Order No. F.9( 1)1097/ F&S(P&C)(ii)1252 dated the 09th March, 1998 and Delhi Pulses (Licensing of Dealers) order. 1974 vide Order No. F.3 (17)/2003/F&S/Policy/206 dated 12th July, 2004.(cid:9) • Whereas, the Central Government vide Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. Department of Consumer Affairs, Notification Na. S.O. 2642(L) dated the 28th September. 2015 has issued the Rernovai and NAnth,rriPnt PPet•irtinn4:1 nn. Amendment) Order,. 2015; And whereas sub-clause (1) and (2) of clause 1, and clause 2 of the aforesaid Order provides as below:- "1.(i). This Order may be called the Removal of (Licensing requirements. Stock limits and Movement Restrictions) on specified Foodstuffs (Second Amendment) Order, 2015. (2). It shall come into force on the 1st day of October, 2015. 2.(cid:9) in the Removal of (Licensing requirements, Stock limits and Movement Restrictions) on Specified Foodstuffs Order, 2002, in clause 7,-in sub-clause (1), in item (i), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "(i) pulses, edible oils and edible oilseeds for a period upto the 30th September, 2016. Provided that nothing contained in this item shall apply to :- (a) exporters having import Export Code issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade from the purView of stock holding limits under the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 with respect to Pulses. edible oilseeds, edible oils for the stock meant for export: (b) Stock essential commodities mean to be used as raw materials by licensed food processed food processors for manufacture of food products, from the purview of stock holding limits under the Essential Commodities Act, 1955. (c) Retailers (Multiple Outlets) and Large Departinental Retailers from stock holding limits under the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 ". Now, therefore, the Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.(10 of 1955) read with the order issued by the Government of India. Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Food) Notification No.G.S.R.800 dated the 9th June. 1978, hereby orders that Order No. F9(1)/1997/F&S(P&C)(ii)/252 dated the 09th• March, 1998 and Order No. F.3(17)/2003/F&S/Poliey/206 dated 12th July, 2004 relating to the Delhi Edible Oils (Licensing and Control) Order. 1977 and Delhi Pulses (Licensing of Dealers), Order 1974, respectively, shall be kept in abeyance, to the extent of the provisions of the Removal of (Licensing. requirements, Stock limits and Movement Restrictions) on Specified Foodstuffs (Second Amendment) Order 2015, dated 28th September, 2015 for a further period up to 30th September, 2016 in respect of Edible Oils, Edible Oilseeds and Pulses.
