(i)(cid:32) ये िविनयम, भारतीय खा(cid:7378) िनगम (कम(cid:6981)चारीवृ(cid:7008)द) (दसू रा सशं ोधन) िविनयम, 2016 कह ेजाएंगे।
(ii)(cid:32) ये सरकारी गजट म(cid:7286) अिधसूचना क(cid:7409) तारीख से लागू ह(cid:7298)गे ।
2.(cid:32) प(cid:7407)रभाषा.—इस िविनयम म (cid:7286)श(cid:7011)द(cid:7298) क(cid:7409) प(cid:7407)रभाषा और उनका अथ (cid:6981)तथा पद(cid:7298) के पदनाम का अथ(cid:6981) वही होगा जसै ा (cid:7408)क
खा(cid:7378) िनगम अिधिनयम,1964 तथा भारतीय खा(cid:7378) िनगम (कम(cid:6981)चारीवृ(cid:7008)द) िविनयम, 1971 म (cid:7286)(cid:7408)दया गया है।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 1st August, 2016
No. 113
No. EP-7(1)2016.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 45 of Food Corporations Act, 1964 (37 of
1964) and with the previous sanction of the Central Government, the Food Corporation of India hereby makes the
following Regulations further to amend the Food Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations, 1971 namely:-
1. Short Title and Commencement.—
(i) These Regulations shall be called the Food Corporation of India (Staff) (Second
Amendment) Regulations, 2016
(ii) These shall come into force from the date of Notification in the Official Gazette.
2.(cid:32) Definitions.—The definition and meaning of the words and designation of posts in this Regulation
shall have the same meaning as contained in the Food Corporations Act, 1964 and the Food
Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations, 1971.
3.(cid:32) The following Note shall be incorporated in Remarks Column against all cadres/posts in Appendix I
of the Food Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations, 1971:-
“Where juniors who have completed their qualifying/eligibility services are being considered for
promotion, their seniors would also be considered provided they are not short of the requisite
qualifying/eligibility service by more than half of such qualifying/eligibility service or two years,
whichever is less, and have successfully completed probation period for promotion to the next higher
grade along with their juniors who have already completed such qualifying/eligibility service”
4.(cid:32) The existing Note in the Remarks in column No.9 against the post of Executive Director (Zone)
figuring at Sl. No. 2and Executive Director (Commercial) figuring at Sl.No.3 in Part.I-Special posts
in Appendix-I is hereby deleted.
